5. Create a Dword with name ‘EnableXamlStartMenu’.
6. Give it value 0
7. Log off and login again.
Your start menu should work now.

  24. I am not computer literate. I have the menu and task bar right click issues. I spent 5 hours with a microsoft tech online. The last thing he told me was I have Windows 10 (build 10240) and I needed the current Windows 10 (build 105--). He said he could help me but I had to subscribe to their premium service. I don't understand why I need to subscribe for updates I should automatically receive. How can I download the most recent version?

    1. Hi,
I don't know why they want you to buy premium service. Its there responsibility to fix all type of issue. If they are not taking it seriously than you can post on their social media accounts. (fb,twitter).
They remove there iso downloading link from their official sites. You can search in some unofficial sites/ Torrents.

  27. Unfortunately none of the above fixed the Start button not responding to left mouse-button click. But installing StartIsBack has worked and provides a better (all Apps and programs) experience than the Ms Start button did..

  28. I just want to thank you for the fix. I did the registry edit following your steps did a restart and all was good. I'm using Win 10 64-bit which made me wonder if the 32-bit entry would work. Thankfully, it did. I appreciate this. The first time it happened I rebuilt my system and I didn't want to have to do that again.
